                        Daryll Delgado, the author of the short story "Preludes" tells us the story of Nenita, and how she holds their relationship with his cheater husband. Because of the events, reading the narrative was quite engrossing. There were also a lot of words that might represent symbols, which made it a little confused, but it ended with a topic that everyone should be aware of inequity. Mistreatment of one gender by another has occurred in the past and continues to do so now.
                       The image above depicts how illustrates and somehow understands the story, how I envision the many events. On what are her trails and what she feels inside. As you can see, I put every scenery in one big leaf on which embellish Nenita's life as the wife of an amatorculist. The picture I inserted above is the poster I draw, and now I will tell you the description of my work. I drew a big leaf and inserted all the things I imagine while reading the story, at first, I assumed it would be a straightforward short narrative with no hidden meanings, but I was surprised to discover that I needed to think harder to comprehend it, forcing me to read it several times to completely get the storyline. After analyzing the story, the first that comes up in my mind is the wasted love which I drew the melted heart in the poster because in my critique Nenita just wasted her time with his husband who is not appreciating his love and effort. You shouldn't underestimate someone's work until you walk in their shoes. Gratitude is not deadly. The second scene is how Nenita was treated by his husband, we can imagine the bruises and Nenitas mournful bellows in this scene. While the third drawing which is the women's side profile has its role of a mother and the much love and effort for her child. In this form, we can see how our mother's sacrifices and love for us. A mother's love is the purest and most unconditional sort of love. And the last part of the leaf is the wicked plan of Nenita, in this segment is that when Nenita is planning to kill his husband using herbal medicine (dried purple leaves). Reading this line in the story made me mixed feelings, because of what her partner did, I am really irritated. He already had a wife, but he desired more. However, killing someone, regardless of the circumstances, is too much for me.
                           We can obtain some lessons from this story and made us realize about red flags inside the relationship. Cheating on someone has never been a fun activity, and mistreating others will not benefit you.
